Great cooling, poor durability

"On the good side of things, the comforter is wonderfully cooling. My perimenopausal wife was waking up drenched in sweat prior to receiving the comforter and she's been much more comfortable since. So truly--excellent cooling. *However*, be very careful with your comforter if you buy one. Ours developed a hole near a seam in less than two weeks. Because it appears to have been "caused by getting snagged on something" rather than a manufacturing defect, I've been unable to get a replacement (SlumberCloud did offer a 30% discount on a new purchase). To be fair, we do have dogs in the house and it's entirely possible that one got a nail into the fabric. This has never been an issue with any comforter/blanket up to now so I have to say, at this price point, the durability of the comforter is extremely disappointing. So if you have children or pets in the house, just be aware of the issues with the durability--the fabric is extremely delicate. It's a fantastic comforter in terms of cooling performance, but the durability. . . oof. If I were to repurchase knowing what I know now, I'd put it into a duvet cover and hope that didn't interfere too much with the cooling."

"EDIT* Ater one months use the stitching is starting to fall apart on the seams. For $300, I expect better quality. Washes well, wgich is a shame."

Light and cooling

"I really like the new comforter as it does keep me cooler at night and yet is lightweight. It’s a little slippery so it can slide around a lot on the bed. Overall a good product. I’d buy more if it went in sale"

Excellent quality but expensive

"This comforter is super soft and well made. It does keep me cooler than my previous comforter, but I still wake up hot at night. I was hoping for better results. The material is cool to the touch. It doesn't wrinkle that much which I really like. It looks great even without a duvet cover. I got lightweight option in white. Its a true white."

Comfortable but no effect on temp

"This comforter is very soft and cool to the touch. However, I haven’t noticed any difference in temperature throughout the night and no change in my nightsweats. It’s a premium price tag for a blanket that performs the same as cheap blankets"

Works perfect!

"I bought the slumber cloud comforter because in the summer the upstairs of my townhouse gets about 10 degrees hotter than the downstairs. Even with air conditioning. It's cool to the touch, easy to wash and dry. I highly recommend for anyone in my situation, or that sleeps hot etc."
