Why can't I apply my promo code to my order?

At this time, promo codes cannot be used in combination with any other offers (such as site wide sales, bundle savings, or multiple promo codes) or used on Final Sale/Last Call items.

Can I apply multiple promo codes?

At this time, we can only accept one promotion per order. This includes promo codes, bundle savings, and site-wide promotions. We always suggest using the offer that gives you the best deal and save any addditional promotion codes for a future order!

Please note that restrictions may apply on any codes.

The product I want is out of stock! When will it be back?

We always try our best to keep our customers in the know and items back in stock within a few weeks. If an item is sold out and we have the projected restock date, we will open the item up for "back-order" with it shipping around the estimated backorder date listed on the product page. If an item is marked as sold out without a date listed, we do not have a projected restock date and we suggest choosing a different color or product.

Can I use a gift card from Amex or Visa in addition to my credit card?

At this time, our system can only accept one form of payment per purchase. In order to use both a third-party gift card and credit card on your order, you can purchase a Slumber Cloud gift card with the Amex or Visa gift card, and then apply the Slumber Cloud gift card at checkout. Where can I purchase Slumber Cloud bedding?

Currently, the only place to purchase our bedding is online from our website. It is not available in any retail stores or other online marketplaces, but we do not want that to limit your ability to test the bedding out! Each purchase comes with a 60 night trial period, letting you test it out in the comfort of your own home. If it doesn't live up to your expectations for whatever reason, simply return it for a full purchase price refund.

Why doesn't anyone answer the phones on the weekends?

We are quite a small team and although we love our customers, we love spending time with our families/friends too. We promise to get back to you ASAP during our normal business hours. Don’t worry, if you have a question or concern about a promotion rest assured we will work with you. Just leave us a message at info@slumbercloud.com or on chat and we will get back to you ASAP. Where are your products made?

Our products are made and use materials sourced from all over the world with the main countries being Germany, Asia, and the US. Some products like our pillows and sleep accessories are made in the US, while other products like our comforters, duvet covers, mattress pads, and sheets are cut, sewn, and made overseas in Asia. Additionally, our sleepwear is made in Switzerland.

However, we do want to point out that the Outlast® temperature regulating technology inside most of our bedding was originally developed for NASA astronauts in Boulder, Colorado and has a used in space certification by the Space Foundation.

Why are there taxes charged on my order?

Several states have passed legislation to charge taxes on online orders entering their state. This is determined by your shipping address and imposed by certain governmental entities within the state, not by us. These taxes may be listed as State Tax, County Tax, City/Municipal Tax, or Special Tax.

We do understand there is some confusion over these charges, and we want to assure you, we would never impose any unnecessary fees. We strive to provide the best possible experience for our customers; however, we have no control over these taxes.

I recently placed an order, but now there's an sale running! Do you allow price adjustments?

Yes, our team will provide a refund price adjustment within 60 days of the initial order upon request. If a discount was applied to the initial order the refund of the new price adjustment will be made for the difference between the discounts as we can not combine promotions or offers.

What if I forgot to add my promo code at checkout?

Our team is happy to help if you forgot to apply your promo code. In order to have your discount retroactively applied please reach out to our team via phone, 855.241.5495, or email at info@slumbercloud.com and we will process a refund.

I received the wrong item in my order, now what do I do?

My order just arrived and I am missing part of my order, what should I do?

The Technology

I sleep hot, my partner sleeps cold. Is this going to work for us?

Definitely! When you sleep hot but your partner sleeps cold we refer to this as being “thermally incompatible”. Our bedding is designed to automatically adjust to each sleeper’s ideal sleep temperature. With the unique ability to react to each sleeper's temperature independently, our bedding ensures that both you and your partner will sleep comfortably all night long.

How does the technology in the bedding work?

Outlast® technology is made of a unique material that can absorb, store and release excess heat. As an individual’s skin temperature increases, the technology will absorb that excess heat to help reduce overheating. The material will store the excess heat until the skin temperature begins to drop. When this occurs, the stored heat is released back to the individual to prevent chill.

By managing the build-up of heat and moisture under the covers, Outlast® technology helps keep you at a comfortable temperature so you sleep “just right.”

How many degrees cooler will this keep me?

Slumber Cloud products are designed to help manage the heat and humidity build up. It is not an air conditioner with a set temperature degree, but it will react to your temperature all night long to reduce heat build up and manage temperature swings.

What's the difference between Slumber Cloud bedding and other "cooling" bedding I might have tried?

Slumber Cloud takes a proactive approach to temperature control by absorbing and storing excess heat when temperatures are too warm and releasing heat when temperatures are too cold. This approach is different than most other "cooling" bedding technologies/products on the market that are moisture-wicking (i.e Bamboo & Eucalyptus). Moisture-wicking is a reactive approach because it doesn't start to cool you down until you build up sweat and moisture and then wicks it off of you. Our products are designed to prevent you from ever getting to the point of sweating and building up moisture.

How do I initiate a return?

Please note that we are not able to process returns for items listed as Final Sale or past the 60 day return period.

Are shipping fees covered for returns?

All shipping fees for domestic returns are completely free! When you initiate a return through our returns platform, you will receive a prepaid shipping label to get the item back to us.

If you live outside the US and are looking to initiate a return, please check out the return policy in the International FAQs.

Can I return products I purchased through Amazon?

At this time, we only accept returns for products purchased on our website or at our retail location. Products purchased through Amazon must be returned through that site and will be subject to their return policy guidelines.

Can I still return an item even if it's been washed?

We accept returns in any condition within 60 days of purchase! We want you to absolutely love your new bedding, so if you wash an item, try it out, and decide it's just not for you, we can definitely still initiate a return.

Please note we do our very best to donate all returns to local charities instead of a landfill. We appreciate your help in this process by washing any used items before returning them to us.

Can I return items to your retail location?

Yes! You can return any orders in person at our Arvada Colorado location within 60 days of purchase. Please visit us between 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday.

Can I schedule to have my return picked up?

Unfortunately at this time we can not coordinate a pick up for your return. For fastest service please drop your return off returns with a USPS label at a local post office or returns with a UPS label to a local UPS drop box or location.

If you need the carrier to come pick up the return, you must request this service through the carrier directly at an additional cost that must be covered by you.

What is your return policy?

All products sold on the Slumber Cloud website come with a 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Sleep on it, wash it, and really test it out - If you are not fully satisfied with your new bedding you can return the item(s) within 60 days of your purchase date, no questions asked. A refund will be issued, within 7 business days of receiving the returned product.

What is your exchange policy?

All products sold on the Slumber Cloud website come with a 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Sleep on it, wash it, and really test it out - If you are not fully satisfied with your new bedding you can return or exchange the item(s) within 60 days of your purchase date, no questions asked. An exchange, refund, or store credit will be issued, within 7 business days of receiving the returned product.

When will I get my refund?

Typically refunds are processed within 7 business days of our warehouse receiving the returned product(s).

For store credit and exchanges, refunds will be processed as soon as the return is scanned by the carrier. Please note, these returns will be evaluated upon receipt at our warehouse. If the return does not include all of the items marked as return, our team will reach out with next steps in addition to an additional $25 processing fee.

What happens to products when they are are returned?

While we don't get many returns (our customers are almost always blown away by our products), when we do, bedding industry regulations mandate any used/washed items cannot be resold. So to keep items out of the landfill, we do our very best to donate all returns in this condition to local charities & animal shelters.

Being placed in a shelter can be a nerve wrecking experience for these animals. By repurposing the returned bedding into pet beds, we felt that we could give these animals a little piece of home. Plus the Outlast® technology inside the bedding still works for our four legged friends to keep them comfortable while they wait for their forever homes.

Order Changes

How do I modify the items in my order?

Please email us as soon as possible if you wish to modify the items in your order. If the order has not been fulfilled (shipped) yet, we should be able to help update the order in our system! However, if your order has already been fulfilled, you will need to initiate a return. All domestic returns are completely covered, and your refund will be issued to your original form of payment.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellations can be only initiated by reaching out to our customer service team within 15 minutes of your order being placed. Please reach out to us over Live Chat or Phone us at 855.241.5495 during our business hours (Monday through Friday, 10AM to 6PM EST) so we can update your order.

If we are not available over Live Chat or Phone, please send an email with the subject line "Order Cancellation" to info@slumbercloud.com. To expedite the process, we suggest replying to the order confirmation email we'll send as soon as your order is placed.

If your order has been fulfilled and shipped out, we unfortunately can no longer cancel the order. Please accept the package upon delivery and we will be able to work towards a solution for the return as soon as the order is in your possession.

The shipping address on my order is incorrect! Can I change it?

Please email us as soon as possible if you realize the shipping address on your order is incorrect. If the order has not been fulfilled (shipped) yet, we should be able to update it in our system! However, if your order has already been fulfilled, you will need to make changes through the carrier.

How do I make shipping changes though my shipping carrier?

Currently you can only make edits or provide delivery instructions for UPS shipments. If your order is shipped through UPS, you can create an account with UPS My Choice! UPS My Choice will give you the opportunity to control the following actions.

- Get estimated and confirmed delivery windows
- Track and manage multiple packages at once

Shipping

When will my order ship?

Products that are in-stock and are not on a pre-order or backorder status, will ship within 24 business hours of the order being placed. Orders placed before 9am MST will ship the same day, orders placed after 9am MST will ship the following business day.

This means orders placed after 9am MST on a Friday will not ship until Monday or Tuesday in the case of a national holiday (yes this includes expedited Next Day Air shipments)

Which shipping carriers do you use?

At this time, we only ship with UPS and USPS for domestic and international orders. You will see the applicable shipping methods and estimated arrival dates on the shipping methods section of the checkout process.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

Yes, we ship to P.O boxes! All orders being sent to a P.O. box will ship through USPS Priority Mail (even if you select a different shipping method during checkout)

Where are orders shipped from?

All of our orders will ship from our warehouse located outside Denver Colorado.

How can I communicate delivery instructions to the carrier?

My order was marked as delivered, but it’s not here! What do I do?

If your order was marked as delivered but it is not at the desired location, we first suggest verifying the shipping address on your order. If the shipping address is correct, check all possible locations around your home, apartment, or office and see if someone else or a neighbor accepted the delivery (this happens more often than you would think!).

Additionally, packages may be prematurely marked as delivered by the carrier. We suggest waiting 2 business days for your package to arrive after the listed delivered date. If your order does not arrive within this timeframe, please reach out to us at info@slumbercloud.com and we will find a solution!

Please be aware, lost packages must be reported within 14 days of the marked delivery date.

If one item in my order is backordered, when will my package ship?

If your order includes items both in-stock and on backorder, then your order will be split into multiple shipments. In-stock items will ship within 24 business hours of the order being placed, and the backordered item will ship within 24 business hours of being received by our warehouse.

Product Care

Is this machine washable?

Yes! Just like traditional bedding, Slumber Cloud products are designed to be washed and dried in your home washer and dryer. Please carefully follow the care instructions on the tag of your products.

Can I use an iron on my bedding?

The technology in our bedding is sensitive to high heats - instead of ironing we recommend using a wrinkle release spray such as Iron In a Bottle for that crisp and finished look.

How do I sanitize my bedding?

Although we recommend against using high heat when washing your bedding there are products that can help with sanitizing your bedding. Here are a few of our favorites: Dropps & Tide

How should I remove stains?

Please refrain from using harsh chemicals such as bleach and oxiclean on your bedding. Instead opt for more natural alternatives such as a small amount of dish soap, a warm water & vinegar solution, or specialty formulated laundry detergent such as Dropps

How do I wash my sheet set?

To wash your sheet set, please follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, then it is recommended to wash with Slumber Cloud Free & Clear Laundry Detergent or a mild detergent in cold water on a delicate spin cycle.

When it’s time to dry your sheets, please dry it on low heat or air dry. Do not iron your sheets. To reduce wrinkling, take your sheets out of the dryer and immediately place on your bed or use a wrinkle release spray such as Iron In a Bottle for that crisp and finished look.

How do I wash my mattress pad?

To wash your mattress pad, please follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, it is recommended to wash with Slumber Cloud Free & Clear Laundry Detergent or a mild detergent in cold water on a delicate spin cycle.

When it’s time to dry your mattress pad, please dry it on low heat or air dry. We recommend taking the mattress pad out halfway through a cycle to ensure that everything is moving around and one part is not constantly up against the heating element.

How do I wash my pillow?

To wash your pillow, please follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, it is recommended to wash with Slumber Cloud Free & Clear Laundry Detergent or a mild detergent in cold water on a delicate spin cycle.


Keep the heat on low and don't use an auto-dry setting. The sensors in your high-tech dryer will only detect surface dryness, so your pillows will almost certainly still be holding water at the end. Before putting them in the dryer you will want to make sure that the fill in the pillows hasn't gone all to one end of the encasement. Also remember to spread out the fill (fluff them), two or three times during drying.

One of our favorite tricks for washing your pillows is tennis balls or shoes. Grab a few clean tennis balls and throw them in the dryer with your pillows. As they bounce around your dryer they will fluff your pillows and keep the fill from bunching up. This also leads to a more consistent dryness throughout the cushion and shorter drying times. If you are looking for something a little more refined than tennis balls or shoes, you can find products called dryer balls that are often made of wool or a synthetic material that do the exact same thing. Just try to get ones that are heavy enough to fluff your pillows while they dry.

How do I wash my pillow covers?

To wash your pillow covers, please follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, then it is recommended to wash with Slumber Cloud Free & Clear Laundry Detergent or a mild detergent in cold water on a delicate spin cycle. When it’s time to dry your pillow covers, please dry it on low heat or air dry.

How do I wash my silk pillowcases?

To wash your silk pillowcases please take follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, it is recommended to hand wash with cold water using a pH neutral liquid detergent and/or fabric softener. Line dry. Do not tumble dry or iron.

How do I wash my down comforter?

To wash your down comforter please take follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, we recommend leaving your down comforter outside on a dry day or using a dryer on the air fluff / no heat setting and then shaking the product out. Both options will dry out any dust or dirt and fluff the down. For spills or stains, we recommend spot cleaning with soft soap like Zero or Woolite. The down comforter can be dry cleaned for large stains.

Please note, dry cleaning will shorten the lifespan of your down comforter -- the chemicals will remove the natural oils in the down and the clusters will break down faster.

How do I wash my weighted blanket?

To wash your weighted blanket please take follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, it is recommended to hand wash with cold water using a pH neutral liquid detergent and/or fabric softener. Line dry. Do not tumble dry or iron. Please note washing this product in your home washer & dryer this can cause damage to both the product and your machines.

How do I wash my sleepwear?

To wash your sleepwear, please follow the washing instructions on the tag. If you have cut your tags after purchase, then it is recommended to wash with Slumber Cloud Free & Clear Laundry Detergent or a mild detergent in cold water on a delicate spin cycle.

When it’s time to dry your sleepwear, please dry it on low heat or air dry. Do not iron your sleepwear. To reduce wrinkling, take your sleepwear out of the dryer and immediately place on your bed or use a wrinkle release spray such as Iron In a Bottle for that crisp and finished look.

Warranty

How do I file a claim for a damaged or defective item?

All of our products are backed by a 180 day warranty. If you would like to submit a quality claim, please send an email to our customer service team at info@slumbercloud.com with details of the issue and photos of the defective product. Once you send the email, someone from our team will reach back out to work towards the best solution for you.

Are your products covered by a warranty?

Yes! All of our products are covered not only by the 60 night trial period but also a 180 day warranty which covers manufacturers defects (i.e. stitching, sizing). Please note in addition to damage caused by disregard of care instructions, temperature performance is not considered a manufacturers defect or covered by the product warranty.

Gifts

I want to order your products as a gift. Are there prices in the box?

Not to worry! We do not include pricing details in the box containing your order. All billing information is communicated via email.

As note that although we cannot add gift messages, our team will hand write the ship to name of the customer on a insert card included in the box for a personalized touch.

Can I return or exchange something I was given as a gift?

Sometimes it's the thought that counts. Instead of hurting someone's feelings we can easily help you exchange a gift for a new size, color, product, or store credit via our return portal found here.

Unfortunately we can only refund the original form of payment so any returns not for an exchange or store credit will have to be processed back to the original purchasers form of payment.

Mattress Pads

What's the difference between a mattress pad and a mattress protector?

Although each of these products utilize Outlast® technology to help you sleep at the perfect temperature, each product addresses different needs. If you need the most temperature regulation performance, one of our mattress pad options are right for you. If you need 100% waterproof protection and temperature regulation, you should choose the mattress protector.

How do I layer a mattress pad on my bed?

The technology in our mattress pads is designed to work even when used underneath your fitted sheet. We recommend to layer the mattress pad on top of your mattress but under your fitted sheet. If you are using a mattress protector, layer that first followed by the mattress pad and fitted sheet.

Will these help even on my memory foam mattress?

Love your bed, but not all the heat buildup? Although they can reduce pressure points, beds with memory foam often get uncomfortably hot.

Slumber Cloud bedding with Outlast® technology helps prevent the heat from your mattress from building up. You'll still enjoy the comfort of your mattress but without that hot, sweaty feeling.

How deep is the pocket of your mattress pads and protectors?

Made with a unique elastic skirting and a 360-degree grip, our pads and protectors perfectly fit any mattress as short as 5’’ and up to 20”.

Which product offers the best temperature regulation?

If temperature regulation is your main concern, we recommend the Core Mattress Pad. You may also want to consider layering your bed with multiple Slumber Cloud products to create your own “sleep system” designed to keep you at the perfect temperature all night long.

Pillows & Covers

Are these pillow covers or pillowcases?

Not to be confused with pillowcases, this set of pillow covers are traditionally used underneath your pillowcases to keep your head cool and extend the lifetime of your pillows.

Does this come with one or two pillow covers?

The Core Pillow Cover Set & Performance Pillow Cover Set comes with two pillow covers. That means one for you and one to share with your partner (or not share, we don’t judge).

I need a new pillow, what firmness is best for me?

Pick your firmness based on your typical sleeping position. The soft-medium pillow offers the perfect support for those that prefer to sleep on their stomach and back.The medium-firm pillow is recommended for those who regularly sleep on their side and back.

Can I put a pillowcase over my pillow or pillow covers?

Yes, we want your bed to look nice and match the rest of your linens so we made sure the technology inside our pillows and pillow covers will still work even when used with a pillowcase.

Which one is cooler, the UltraCool or Core pillow?

True to its name, the UltraCool pillow is going to be the "cooler" of the two pillow options. Although you will still get great temperature control with the Core Pillow, this is designed more for sleepers would prefer a traditional pillow with a modern temperature regulation technology added in.

What comes in a sheet set?

Our sheet sets come with 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, and pillowcases.

Twin and Twin XL sets come with 1 standard-size pillowcase.
Full and Queen sets come with 2 standard-size pillowcases.
King and Cal-King sets come with 2 king-size pillowcases.
Split-King sets come with 1 king-size flat sheet, 2 twin xl fitted sheets, and 2 king-size pillowcases.

What's the difference between the Essential Sheet Set, the Performance Sheet Set, and the Flannel Sheet Set?

Although all three sheet options are designed to help you sleep cooler and more comfortable, it's important to choose the version that best suits your sleeping needs. Below is a quick overview of each option to help you in this decision making:

Essential Sheet Set:

Can I purchase the flat or fitted sheet separately from a set?

Currently, our sheets are only sold in sets which include the flat sheet, fitted sheet, and pillowcase. However, additional pillowcases are available for purchase.

How deep is the pocket on the fitted sheet?

Our fitted sheets come with 15" pockets. Fitted sheets are designed with an elastic strap to secure tightly on mattresses with varying depths from 5'' to 18''

Comforters & Duvet Covers

What’s the difference between a duvet, a comforter, and a duvet cover?

A comforter tends to be a bit heavier in weight than a blanket and although they often are used in a single layer, they can be used inside a duvet cover for a more finished look. Similar to a comforter, a duvet is type of blanket that is generally lighter in weight and is used inside a duvet cover making it easy to care for.

Would using a duvet cover negate the humidity controlling effect of the Cumulus Comforter?

Our comforters are designed to regulate your temperature even when placed inside a duvet cover. Feel free to use a duvet cover to get the finished look you are after as it will not have a drastic impact on the overall performance. However, we do recommend the Essential Duvet Cover for an added layer of Outlast® temperature regulation and breathability.

What's the difference between the Performance Comforter, Lightweight Comforter, and Down Comforter?

Although all three comforter options are designed to help you sleep cooler and more comfortable, it's important to choose the version that best suits your sleeping needs. Below is a quick overview of each option to help you in this decision making:

Performance Comforter:
- A more traditional comforter in it's amount of loft. The Performance Comforter pairs Outlast® temperature regulation fiberfill with a silky smooth Tencel®, a moisture wicking based outer cover. This combination of two technologies is best for sleepers who want a more lofty comforter that still sleeps cool.

Lightweight Comforter:
- Our most popular comforter, the Lightweight Comforter uses Outlast® temperature regulation fiberfill to regulate heat and humidity build up. Our thinnest option, this is best suited for "hot" sleepers who still want a little bit of weight on top of them.

Down Comforter:
- A new twist on a classic comforter, this all-season Down Comforter uses premium down filling that "hugs" your body to sleep while our most advanced Outlast® temperature regulation liner fabric provides the most amount of technology in any of our comforters for the best temperature performance.

What's the difference between a Lightweight Comforter and a Comforter?

The difference between the two comforter weights is the amount of filling. The lightweight option is significantly lighter & thinner at about 1/4th'' thick, and is the best option for hot sleepers.

The comforter is more of a three season weight, and for those who prefer a bit more loft & thickness at about 2''. Both of the comforters are filled with Outlast technology to assist with keeping you cool with proactive heat management.

Does this come with cover loops or ties?

Our Slumber Cloud Comforters are designed with corner loops to keep it in place if used as an insert inside a duvet cover that has ties. Additionally, our Duvet Cover is designed with ties in each corner to secure an insert.

Do your comforters come in other colors than white?

At this time our comforters only come in the white color that is displayed. We do carry our Essential Duvet Cover in a few different color options that can be used in conjunction with our comforters.

What's the difference between the coverlet, quilt, and comforters?

Although all of these options are designed to help you sleep cooler and more comfortable, it's important to choose the version that best suits your sleeping needs. Below is a quick overview of each option to help you in this decision making:

Quilted Coverlet:
- A versatile layer to your bed. Built with Outlast® temperature-regulation fiberfill, this is a great lightweight option for the warmer months or an additional layer in the colder months. It's about the same weight and thickness as our lightweight comforters.

Textured Quilt:
- A great option for those who want a more polished look with added Outlast® temperature-regulation technology. It's a medium weight & warmth.

Comforters:
- Ideal for those would want to most temperature-regulation performance. These comforters can be used as an insert in a duvet cover or are beautiful enough to use as a stand alone product. There are multiple weights and fillings to choose from for your ideal weight and loft.
