1. “My mattress is hot”
If I had to guess the percentage of people that call us to seek help about the heat build up in their mattress, I’d say it is about 70% of all of our calls. With the different types of foams, gels, mattress ticking, etc. It’s no wonder people are calling to get some relief from their “hot mattress”.
Whatever is causing the issue with newer mattresses, there is some relief. There are products out there that now apply Outlast Technology directly to the mattress: Stearns & Foster, Sealy Optimum and Select Comfort all have beds that also utilize the same technology we do to help balance temperature.
BUT if you’re already bought a new mattress and are unable to return it or a new bed isn’t in the budget, you can purchase one of our mattress protectors or mattress pads. Wow, who knew so many people have an incompatible sleeping partners. Customers of ours have said how many issues are caused just in the night and grumpiness in the morning from lack of sleep.

3. “I get night sweats from _____”
Whether it is from menopause, chemotherapy or some other unknown reason, people get night sweats. Even though we cannot prevent night sweats we can help mitigate some of the side effects.
4. “I have insomnia”
There are so many reasons why people have insomnia and not all are related to temperature. Try turning off electronics at least an hour before bed, avoid spicy foods and/or alcohol which are stimulant and can cause restlessness. Try to set a sleep routine for yourself. It can be as small as setting a time to got to bed each night and reading a chapter in a book (not one from an electronic reader, which messes with your melatonin levels).
5. “I purchased ____ and it isn’t’ cool enough. Can you help?”
